4th Line Theatre will be presenting The Real McCoy by Andrew Moodie, the Toronto-based playwright's first piece to be presented on the barnyard stage.
The Real McCoy will run Mondays through Saturdays from August 5th to 24th. Rehearsals begin July 16th, 2013. All characters are African Canadian/African American men & women ages 20s-50s. We are seeking actors with dynamic personalities, capable of carrying a variety of principal and ensemble roles in a true ensemble piece.
Casting for the following;
Two - Equity or Non-Equity Females: 20s-50s
Two - Equity or Non-Equity Males: 20s-50s

Auditions will take place in Toronto on Saturday January 12th and in Millbrook, Ontario on Sunday January 13th. Only those who have been selected for an audition will be contacted.
4th Line Theatre brings history to life on the barnyard stages of the picturesque 5th generation Winslow Farm in Millbrook, Ontario. The theatre company preserves our Canadian cultural heritage through the presentation of regionally-based, environmentally-staged historical drama.
The Real McCoy is inspired by the true life story of extraordinary black inventor Elijah McCoy, born in Canada to runaway slaves, who revolutionized steam engine travel.
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
