AUDITIONS - VANCOUVER OPERA IN SCHOOLS (VOIS) TOURING ENSEMBLE

Vancouver Opera will be holding auditions for the Vancouver Opera In Schools (VOIS) Touring Ensemble's
2012-2013 season production of Naomi's Road on February 17, 2012, in Vancouver.

Naomi's Road
Composed by Ramona Luengen. Libretto by Ann Hodges.
Based on the novel Naomi's Road by Joy Kogawa.
The opera, Naomi's Road was originally commissioned by Vancouver Opera in 2003.

Naomi's Road, which details a young Japanese-Canadian girl's experiences as her family is interned during World War II, is a coming of age story that celebrates the power of hope, cultural understanding and compassion.
