Vancouver Opera is currently seeking a Stage Manager for the Vancouver
Opera In Schools (VOIS) Touring Ensemble's 2012-2013 production of
Naomi's Road.

Vancouver Opera In Schools is a school touring program. There are two
engagement periods: September 3 - November 19, 2012 and April 1 - May
13, 2013 (dates include prep week, rehearsals, tour and wrap up day, and
subject to a possible 1-2 week extension).  Applicants must have
professional stage management experience and be able to read music.
Applicants with touring experience, a Class 4 BC driver's license (or
equivalent) and availability for both engagement periods will be given
preference.

Naomi's Road
Composed by Ramona Luengen. Libretto by Ann Hodges.
Based on the novel Naomi's Road by Joy Kogawa.
Originally Commissioned by Vancouver Opera for Vancouver Opera In
Schools 2005-2006.

Naomi's Road, which details a young Japanese-Canadian girl's experiences
as her family is interned during the Second World War, is a
coming-of-age story that celebrates the power of hope, cultural
understanding and compassion.
