Le Théâtre français de Toronto est à la recherche de comédiens qui possèdent un talent pour le théâtre classique comique pour "Les Fourberies de Scapin" de Molière (25 oct - 10 nov 2012), ainsi que de jeunes comédiens qui pourraient jouer de 15 à 30 ans pour une création pour adolescents, "Les Zinspirés" (4 au 9 fév 2013).

Les candidats retenus seront demandés de préparer une scène de "Scapin" ET, au choix, quelquechose qui démontre un talent particulier (monologue complémentaire, chanson, lazzi, etc.) OU un extrait des "Zinspirés" (scènes au choix et réplique seront fournis).

Théâtre français de Toronto is looking for actors with a gift for French classical comedy ("Les Fourberies de Scapin" running Oct 25- Nov 10 2012) as well as young actors able to play 15-30 for a new production for teenage audiences ("Les Zinspirés" running Feb 4-9, 2013). Please note that although natural accents are welcome, candidates must be fully fluent in French.

Candidates are asked to prepare one scene from "Scapin" AND a second piece showcasing a special talent (contrasting monologue, song, lazzi, etc.) OR one monologue from "Les Zinspirés". Scene choices and reader will be provided.

Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under a UDA form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
