The Arts Club Theatre is accepting resumes for  MASTER CLASS  by
Terrence McNally,  directed by Meg Roe. 

We are casting for the following roles:

ACCOMPANIST (Manny) - rehearsal pianist for the Julliard School, any
age/ethnicity/gender.   Must be an excellent, classically trained
pianist, comfortable with operatic repertoire.

FIRST SOPRANO (Sophie) - 20-40, any ethnicity, sings Amina's aria from
LA SONNAMBULA (BELLINI), classically trained, acting experience
preferable.

SECOND SOPRANO (Sharon) - 20-40, any ethnicity, sings Lady Macbeth from
MACBETH (VERDI), classically trained, acting experience preferable.

TENOR (Tony) - 20-40, any ethnicity, sings Recondita Armonia from TOSCA
(PUCCINI), classical training, acting experience preferable.

STAGEHAND - any age/ethnicity/gender.
                                               
The show runs September 27 - October 27, 2012 at the Arts Club's
Granville Island Stage

Those selected for an audition will be asked to prepare 2 arias (one of
which will be from the show), a scene from the show, and a short
monologue of his/her choosing.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
