The Citadel Theatre is now accepting applications to the 2012-2013
Citadel/Banff Centre Professional Theatre Program.

In 2008, the Citadel initiated a partnership with the Banff Centre to
create a rigorous advanced training Program designed to develop and
enhance the skills of established, mid-career theatre professionals. Now
in its fifth year, this Program provides performers a distinct
alternative to other professional theatre training programs in North
America.

Participants take part in group master classes and workshops, followed
by up to six hours per day of individual coaching. There is no age
restriction - we encourage applications from well-established artists
with extensive careers, as well as from emerging artists with a
suggested minimum of three years of professional experience.

This year, following the five-week training period, participants will
rehearse and perform Margaret Atwood's "The Penelopiad" as part of the
Citadel's 2012-2013 Theatre Season. In 2013, the Program will accept 12
participants. Please note that due to the nature of the production, we
are accepting only applications from female theatre professionals.

The deadline for application to the 2012-2013 Citadel/Banff Centre
Professional Theatre Program is 12noon (MST) Friday 18 May, 2012.
