Additional information:
ROLES TO BE CAST
Sylvia  Female, 18-35.  Pert and sexy.  A stray, street-smart
Labradoodle, devoted to Greg.  This is a physically demanding role so
experience in physical or movement-based theatre is an asset.

Greg    Male, 45-60.  Married to Kate for twenty-two years.  A romantic
who becomes disenchanted with the world of investment finance and opts
to devote all his attention to Sylvia instead.  Articulate and
passionate.

Kate    Female, 45-60.  Greg's wife of twenty-two years.  Just as her
own career is taking off and she should be enjoying her new life as an
empty-nester, she is forced to share Greg's affections with a dog she
intensely dislikes.  Intelligent, witty, and pragmatic.

Tom/Phyllis/Leslie  Could be played by either a man or a woman, age
35-60.  Requires a character actor who can effectively play a man, a
woman, and an androgynous character. Good comic skills an asset.


DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:  June 1st, 2012.
If you are selected for an audition, you will be contacted sometime
prior to June 2, 2012.

Rehearsals begin September 24, 2012 and the run is from October 11-27,
2012 at the Gateway Theatre.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
