Additional information:
Thousand Islands Playhouse is looking for an Associate/Assistant
Artistic Director (title dependent on experience). Reporting to AD
Ashlie Corcoran, candidate will:

Be responsible for our Young Company including:
*  directing the Young Company show Peg & The Yeti
*  programming the 2014 season (potentially commissioning or writing the
piece)
*  organizing workshops lead by Young Company (off site and on site)
*  organizing training for young artists
*  writing grant proposals and corporate sponsorship solicitation for
Young Company, in conjunction with AD
*  marketing Young Company tour with Outreach Officer

Take a leadership role within the Education & Outreach Department:
*  Helping to organize Student Matinee and Workshop program
*  Helping to organize post show and pre show outreach activities
(chats, talk backs, etc.)
*  Investigate partnerships with Post Secondary Institutions

Take a key position within the New Play Development Department:
*  Reading and responding to new scripts
*  Participating in Playwrights' Unit
*  Help organize, administer (and possibly direct) Play Development
