EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTION TELEPHONE & INTERNET VOTING BEGINS

Telephone and Internet voting opened earlier today.

Elections are taking place in those constituencies where the slate of candidates is sufficient to require it: 
> British Columbia and the Yukon
> Ontario
> Eastern Ontario and Outaouais
> Quebec. 
Nominated candidates in all other regions have been acclaimed.

Regular and Life members, in good standing and resident in an electoral region listed above, are eligible to vote in Equity's Council elections for the 2012-2015 term.

Any eligible voter who does not receive an election ballot by Wednesday, October 10, 2012, or who has a question regarding voting, is encouraged to contact the Voter HelpLine at 1-800-387-1856 (416-867-9165 in Toronto) for assistance. The HelpLine is staffed 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET weekdays. Email enquiries may be sent to communications at caea.com.

Voting will close Wednesday, October 31. Only those votes cast prior to 5:00 p.m. PT on October 31 will be counted. The election results will be announced on e-drive and on EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) on Thursday, November 1.

► October 10 - Quebec Region All-Candidates Election Meeting and Regional AGM
► October 12 - Eastern Ontario & Outaouais Region All-candidates Election Meeting
► October 24 - Last day to come into good standing and be eligible to vote
► October 31 - Last day to vote
► November 1 - Results announced
