EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTION - DEADLINE TO BE IN GOOD STANDING IS OCTOBER 24
---------------------------
Regular and Life members, in good standing and resident in an electoral region (listed below), are eligible to vote in Equity's Council elections for the 2012-2015 term. Please check your current membership status online (http://www.caea.com) or contact Equity's National Office at 1-800-387-1856 (416-867-9165 in Toronto). 
 
Members in not in good standing must pay outstanding basic dues not later than October 24, 2012 in order to be eligible to vote. Payment of basic dues owing may be made online by credit card, debit card, or in person by cash or cheque (received in either the National of Western offices by close of business on October 24).
 
Elections are taking place in those constituencies where the slate of candidates is sufficient to require it: 
► British Columbia and the Yukon
► Ontario
► Eastern Ontario and Outaouais
► Quebec. 
Nominated candidates in all other regions have been acclaimed.
 
Any eligible voter who has not received an election ballot or who has a question regarding voting, is encouraged to contact  election voter assistance at communications at caea.com. Or contact the Voter HelpLine at 1-800-387-1856 (416-867-9165 in Toronto) for assistance. The HelpLine is staffed 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET weekdays. 
 
Regular and Life members, resident in an electoral region listed above but who are not currently eligible to vote in Equity's Council elections for the 2012-2015 term because of membership arrears should contact the Membership Administrator at membership at caea.com.
 
Voting will close Wednesday, October 31. Only those votes cast prior to 5:00 p.m. PT on October 31 will be counted. The election results will be announced on e-drive and on EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) on Thursday, November 1.
