NOMINATED CANDIDATES FOR THE 2012 EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS

The 2012-2015 election nomination period has now closed and a complete
record of nominated candidates is listed below.

Equity's President Allan Teichman, speaking on behalf of Council,
expressed the Association's appreciation to the nominated candidates
adding "The members need and deserve a strong Council, and the number of
members willing to take on that responsibility is an encouraging sign
for the coming term."

Voter instruction kits will be mailed to membership in those
constituencies where the slate of candidates is sufficient to require it
on September 28, 2012. Voting by telephone and Internet will open on
October 5 and continue until 5:00 p.m. PT on October 31. Election
results will be announced on November 1.

To ensure continuity, the current Council will stay in place until the
new Council takes office at the beginning of December, 2012.

Equity members are advised to check their electoral region and contact
information online in the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE at
http://www.caea.com. The last day to update an electoral region or a
mailing address is September 12, 2012.
