2012-2015 EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTION VOTER KITS MAILED TO MEMBERSHIP

Election voter instruction kits have now been mailed to the Equity
membership. Life and Regular members, in good standing and resident in
an electoral region in Canada, are eligible to vote in Equity's Council
elections for the 2012-2015 term. 

Elections will be held in those constituencies where the slate of
candidates is sufficient to require it:  British Columbia and the Yukon,
Ontario, Eastern Ontario and Outaouais, and Quebec. Nominated candidates
in all other regions have been acclaimed.

Voting for the 2012-2015 Council term will be by electronic methods
only. Telephone and Internet voting opens Friday, October 5 and closes
on  Wednesday, October 31. Only those votes cast prior to 5:00 p.m. PT
on October 31 will be counted. The election results will be announced on
e-drive and on EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) on Thursday, November
1, 2012.

Any voter who does not receive a ballot by Wednesday, October 10, 2012
is encouraged to contact Equity's National Office for assistance.

Equity members who are currently working away from home or who have
recently moved and not yet updated their mailing address with the
Association should contact Equity's National Office for further
information and assistance.
