Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
Moss Park is a play about a couple in downtown Toronto who are only looking to survive. We are seeking actors who read as having inner city street smarts. TPM is an equal opportunity employer and encourages submissions from actors of all cultural backgrounds.

Additional information:
We HOPE to use the same actors in both Toronto and Vancouver (Production Details TBA).

We are looking to cast the roles of BOBBY and TINA for the Fall 2013 production of Moss Park at Theatre Passe Muraille. BOBBY and TINA have a nine month old baby girl and are only looking to get by. They do not live together.

BOBBY (20s) can't seem to hold a job, but feels like he's working hard to do so. He speaks the language of urban youth, and has the street smarts to back it up. A young man with a grand ambition not supported by reality.

TINA (20s) has a strong personality and is a dominant force in her relationship with Bobby. A fiery woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it.

Only those actors being invited to audition will be contacted, and only those invited to audition will be seen.  We thank all applicants for their interest.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
