Essential Collective Theatre is currently accepting script submissions from Niagara & Hamilton based playwrights for our 7th annual Wine & Reading event taking place at Rockway Glen Winery May 22nd 2013!

What we're looking for:
*       New Canadian plays that have yet to be produced

How does it work?
If your play is selected you'll gain a preliminary dramaturgical review, a cast of professional actors, and eight hours of round table workshop review over a two-day period. Your cast will then rehearse a selected half-hour of your play to be performed at the Wine & Reading staged-reading event. Afterwards you'll be invited to participate in a brief question and answer period with the audience.
If you're play is selected you'll receive an honorarium of $100.  Playwrights of all experience levels are encouraged to submit.
