Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
ETC is an Afrocentric theatre society dedicated to the professional development and production of new and established creative work by visible minority artists.

The nature of this play is such that the characters are race-specific.

Additional information:
Ellipsis Tree Collective is looking for audition submissions for the workshop reading of "The Adventures of a Black Girl in Search of God", by Governor General award-winning playwright, Djanet Sears. This play is in development for full production in 2014.

Must be available August 20-25, 2013 for rehearsals and readings.

We are currently looking to cast a female or male actor for the character of THE CHORUS, who is black.
Age range: Open.

Actors must be strong movers and vocalists.

Only submissions from Calgary will be considered.
