These are General Auditions open to all - CAEA/UdA priority - persons seen within the last year already are not eligible.

Additional information:
The Quebec Drama Federation is announcing that General Auditions for Montreal and environs Equity members will be held at on December 6, 2013 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  As per Equity requirements, only Equity members will be seen first and then non-Equity if there are spaces.  Those who participated in the General Auditions of last year, are not eligible for this year but may send a resume and photo as a reminder of what you have done or are doing. 

Auditionees will be asked to prepare two (2) contrasting pieces - maximum of two minutes each, they do not need to be classical and modern. One (1) piece can be a song, either  acapella or there will be a portable CD player.

Eligible candidates are requested to submit their CV and Head Shot (one page only please and including an email contact address) clearly indicating that you are a member of CAEA (full member or apprentice) or UdA, to the Quebec Drama Federation - 6545 Durocher,  Suite 303, Montreal, QC. H2V 3Z4. 

Electronic submissions will be accepted by sending them to qdf at quebecdrama.org, but photos will not be printed out in colour. 

All submissions will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis.  Time slots will be issued by email on Tuesday, December 2, 2013 by 5:30 P.M.  Auditions will be in English. 

Non-Equity applications may be submitted, but will only be filled if there are spaces available.  Priority is given to CAEA and UdA members. This call does not apply to the graduating students from the Montreal and Quebec region Theatre Training Institutions.  These auditions will be held separately in early March 2014. 

Auditions will be held at the Segal Centre - 5170 Chemin de la Cote Ste Catherine.  Please enter by the Westbury entrance on the east side of the building (handicapped entrance).   If you have not been issued a time slot, an audition space will not be granted. 

Most Artistic Directors of the PACT theatres and other directors will be in attendance. 

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
