Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: In our
desire to encourage and reflect the world and our community on our
stage, The Grand Theatre encourages racially diverse actors to submit
resumes.

Additional information: 

In preparation for the 2013-2014 season, Susan Ferley, Artistic Director
of The Grand Theatre, will be holding general auditions in both Toronto
and London, Ontario.

Auditions will take place on
March 17 and 18, 2013 in Toronto
and
March 20, 2013 at The Grand Theatre in London

The proposed 2013-2014 Season includes the following productions for
which we will be auditioning:

Ring of Fire - by Richard Maltby Jr and William Meade
Elf - Music by Matthew Sklar, Lyrics by Chad Beguelin, Book by Bob
Martin and Thomas Meehan 

Other Desert Cities - by Jon Robin Baitz
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - Music and Lyrics by William
Finn, Book by Rachel Sheinkin

*       Actors should prepare 2 contrasting pieces - each piece
approximately 1 minute. (We are not doing musical auditions at this
time.)
*       Please note that only those artists who are invited to audition
will be contacted to set up an audition time.
*       For the General Auditions, we ask that no agent packages be
sent, please. However, agents are welcome to submit clients for specific
shows at any time.
*       Show-specific auditions will be held at a later date.
*       There may be an opportunity for children (under 15 years of age)
in Elf. Details and requirements will be released at a later date -
please do not submit at this time.

Please send submissions via hard copy if possible, although email
submissions will also be accepted.  Please include a resume, headshot
and a letter stating your interest in auditioning and submit for
consideration to:

Priority will be given to Equity artists.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
