lemonTree creations is moving into the second phase of development for our newest project, BODY POLITIC by Nick Green.  BODY POLITIC is a brand new play that tells of the creation, success and eventual demise of Canada's most important queer publication, The Body Politic. We are hosting a two week workshop in May 20-June 1, 2013.

This project is in residence at Buddies In Bad Times Theatre.

Roles:
Phillip, Male (mid-late 50s to early-mid 60s)
Journalist in his early 60's. A really unique guy. Has a special quality that people are drawn to. A friendly man with a sharp wit and incredible intellect. A little introverted, but quietly passionate. Attractive. Gay.

Brian, Male (mid-late 20s to early-mid 30s)
Writer in his late 20's to early 30's. Very funny and cheerful at the best of times, but quick to become emotional. Bigger build - definitely not athletic or thin. Expressive, exuberant, effeminate. Lots of fun, but must be able to go to a very dark, sad place.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
