JOB DESCRIPTION:        The Sirius Theatrical Company and Lakeshore Arts are seeking a Technical Director for FORGOTTEN VOICES our War of 1812 community theatre performance project.  The qualified candidate will be expected to coordinate production needs and set/props build, as well supervise community volunteers who will be assisting with building both set and props. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 - 5 years relevant theatre experience is an asset including: estimating / costing set and props designs, planning / execution of builds, experience in theatre carpentry and props making.  Excellent communication skills and experience working with community volunteers would be an asset.  Valid driver's license and own vehicle are required.  Must enjoy working in a challenging environment.

DATES:  Flexible and part-time from early May - mid-July, 2013
        Production runs July 4 - 14, 2013

LOCATION:       Toronto - Lakeshore Area and Central Etobicoke.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:    FORGOTTEN VOICES: Beyond the Conflict of the War of 1812 is a multi-generational, multi-disciplinary performance piece that will be performed in July in eight outdoor locations in and around the Lakeshore Area and central Etobicoke.
