The electronic version of Equity's quarterly newsmagazine EQ - Equity Quarterly - is now available on EQUITYONLINE at http://www.caea.com. Please note: hard copy delivery may be delayed by holiday season delivery volume.

* What happened at the FIA 2012 Congress, and why is it important to Equity members? In this issue of EQ you'll find out how performers are working together through the International Federation of Actors (FIA) to tackle tough issues like equality in the workplace and the impact of digital technology on compensation. You'll also discover how Equity is helping fellow artists in Namibia, on the south west coast of Africa, increase its membership and lobby for national arts support.
 
Equity members receiving the Winter 2013 issue of EQ by mail will also receive a copy of "Council Link - A periodic report to the Owners of Equity." In the Fall/Winter 2012 issue of Council Link, Council President Allan Teichman reports on recent bylaw amendments affecting the joining process and standards of conduct and the disciplinary process. Council Link is also available electronically in the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE at http://www.caea.com/EquityWeb/MembersOnly/Redirect/Governance/2012/ToCouncilLink-1112.aspx
 
All Equity members in good standing receive EQ by mail unless a member has designated to read the online version only. Provisional and probationary members in good standing and Equity apprentices also receive EQ by mail. Electronic access to the current issue of EQ is restricted to Equity members in good standing only.
 
Equity members may manage their EQ subscription preferences online by logging on to the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) and amending their "Member Profile" preferences. You do not need to be registered with e-drive to be notified about the publication of a new issue of EQ. E-drive subscribers may update their e-drive preferences at http://caea.biglist.com/.
