Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
We seek to engage storytellers of a variety of cultural and social backgrounds and levels of experience.  We welcome submissions from artists regardless of ethnicity or sexual orientation.

Additional information:
We are casting the role of Mary Snow in David French's Salt-Water Moon.  Mary is "seventeen, a slender, fine-boned, lovely girl with short black hair".  Note that we are not concerned about the performer fitting the exact physical description of Mary.  

The ideal candidate for the role must bring to the work: an open heart, clear technical ability, a comfort with a Newfoundland dialect, and a willingness to make creative contributions to the production as a whole. The contract will take place in Norfolk County between October 22 and November 17 (accommodations provided, exact dates tbc).

With limited time, we will be unable to audition every applicant.  If you do not hear from us, we will not be able to see you at this time, but welcome your submissions in the future.
