Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
We are seeking an experienced male ballroom dancer/actor for a piece
about the development of the first dance for a same sex wedding.

Additional information:
We are seeking a male ballroom dancer/actor. Candidates must have
extensive ballroom/latin dance experience and acting backgrounds (we are
not available to train dancers of other backgrounds to ballroom).

For Ballroom:
- please outline your exact Ballroom/Latin experience: competitions,
level, and style. Please include partnering/lift work experience as
well.
- a video representing your ballroom dancing with your CV is also
welcome. You are free to bring your own partner to the audition if
desired, but it is not necessary
- You may be asked to lead and/or follow Waltz, Rumba, and Salsa
- knowledge of International and American Styles is an asset

For Acting
- please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues.

Audition is towards development and performing in a two hand play for a
total 2 week Tangerine Project contract over August and September.
Candidates must be willing to rehearse/perform in Burlington and/or
Kitchener.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
