Gateway Theatre is an equal-opportunity employer. Actors of all
ethnicities are encouraged to submit for an audition.

Additional information:
Gateway Theatre (Richmond, B.C) will be holding auditions for Rodgers &
Hammerstein's The King & I on June 24, 25, and 26, 2013. In attendance
will be Director Chris McGregor, Music Director Christopher King, and
Choreographer Harriet Chung.

The roles of Anna, The King, and Eliza have already been cast.

The following roles are currently available:

Kralahome ("Prime Minister"): Age 30-45. Male. singer/dancer. Strong,
serious, devoted to the King.

Captain Orton/Sir Edward Ramsay: Age 30-45 male. English accent.

All submissions will be reviewed by the creative team. We thank all of
those who submit but due to the large number of submissions, only those
who will be called in to audition will be contacted.

Submission deadline: June 19, 2013.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
