Shakespeare By The Sea is committed to hiring the best actor for the
job.

Additional information:
This is a General Audition call for actors interested in working with
Shakespeare By The Sea Halifax. Please prepare 2 contrasting Shakespeare
monologues and an acapella song of your choosing.

Shakespeare By The Sea's mission is to present the greatest plays and
stories in the English language, in a beautiful setting, for an
affordable price. Since 1994 the company has entertained thousands of
theatre-goers with is dedication to clarity of Shakespearean text and
its brand of irreverent humour, found in the wildly popular original
musical collective creation adaptations of classic fairy tales and
legends. 2013 marks the 20th season of consistent production for the
company. SBTS Halifax produces 3-5 plays per year in both our outdoor
venue in Point Pleasant Park, and in an 82-seat black box venue called
The Park Place Theatre.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
