The Chemainus Theatre Festival will be holding auditions for their 2013
Season productions of "A Pretty Girl (A Shayna Maidel)"by Barbara Lebow
to be directed by Mark DuMez & "Dracula" by Hamilton Deane & John L.
Balderston to be directed by Bernard Cuffling. Auditions will be held on
Monday March 25, 2013 in the Small Studio at Carousel Theatre in
Vancouver.

Contract dates are: 
A Pretty Girl: August 26 - September 28, 2013
Dracula: September 16 - November 9, 2013

Roles to be cast:

A Pretty Girl: 
- Mordechai Weiss - almost 70, father, strong, determine, hard worker,
dignified and elegant man with an aristocratic look, Yiddish accent. The
hub of the family wheel.
- Luisa Weiss Pechenik - late 20's, survivor, strong, stubborn, hopeful,
Yiddish accent.
Rose Weiss - early 20's, New Yorker, cheerful, longing for family, no
accent. 

Dracula: 
- Lucy - A young girl in her 20's.  Victorian Gothic, intuitive, demure
and strong.

contacted to set up a time slot. Deadline to submit is 12:00pm on Friday
March 15, 2013.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
