Persephone Theatre is inviting submissions for the main stage production of the fiercely funny My Chernobyl by Aaron Bushkowsky - the story of a Canadian man who travels to Belarus and is quickly caught up in a whirlwind of wedding plans, deceit, and vodka.

David - 30's to 40's - Canadian on a mission to give an inheritance to a very distant cousin
Natasha - 20's - David's cousin angling for wealth through marriage
Yuri - 40-65 - an old potato farmer
Katrina - 40-65 - a depressed car mechanic
Alex - 30's - a brooding government official

All actors require excellent comic chops and the wit necessary to populate this one of a kind world.

Actors are encouraged to submit asap and submissions will be accepted no later than June 14, 2013.  Auditions will be held as needed in Saskatoon in June.  With a focus on Saskatchewan actors, only those requested to audition will be contacted.

Video submissions and Agent packages WILL NOT be accepted.  Submit resume and headshot either by hardcopy or electronically (PDF only)
