Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:

Role description: Female, mid-late 30's, brassy, controlling, vulnerable.

Must be capable of creating a fully rounded, three dimensional character, have a very strong stage presence, be able to produce a flawless Essex (just outside of London) accent and have excellent comic timing.

Additional information:

I am a British actor and director and am currently looking to cast the final role of a British play to be staged at the Theatre Passé Muraille Backspace in 2014.

Although this is to be a cooperative production, it is a wonderful opportunity to create a character that has depth and integrity. A deep understanding of British style, black (ironic) humour/comedy would be an asset.
