Theatre Kingston welcomes and encourages submissions from
actors from any ethnic background.

Additional information:
Theatre Kingston is accepting electronic submissions for the role of KEN
in our upcoming production of RED.  The role of Rothko will be performed
by Randy Hughson, direction by Charlotte Gowdy.

Ken - early to late 20's, new assistant to Rothko, a painter who, at
first, is intimidated by Rothko but, as he gains self-confidence,
challenges Rothko's notions of art, the artist, and Rothko's work. Ken
is easy-going, likeable, gentle, and considerate with a quiet demeanor
and confidence that builds as his relationship with Rothko progresses.
He forces Rothko to consider contemporary art and his place in it at the
rise of the pop-art phenomenon, while at the same time admiring Rothko's
fierce vision and self-confidence.

Contract dates: January 13 - February 15, 2014
Audition date(s): October 26 & 27, 2013

Equity members will be seen first at all audition calls.
