fu-GEN is searching for an individual or group/collective to be the Resident Artist for our 2013-2014 season.  As Resident Artist, you will have access to our resources, including up to 175 hours of our rehearsal space.  Please note that we also welcome submissions from Stage Management artists who can articulate a need for these resources.

To apply, please send a letter of intent (maximum 2 pages).
* a statement of intent
* a description of the nature of your work
* how you would use your time in the space
* your mission or mandate statement

Submissions will be accepted by email ONLY to submissions at fu-gen.org with the subject heading "RESIDENT ARTIST 2013-14", and can be attached in either PDF or Word format.

Please note that as per our mandate, pan-Asian Pacific artists and artists of colour will be given first priority.

* Only individuals or groups without artistic homes are eligible to apply
* All performance disciplines (Music, Dance, Theatre, Technicians, Stage Management) are encouraged to apply
* Applicants must submit with a specific project in mind that they would like to work on over the course of the residency

We will accept submissions until 11:59PM on October 25th 2013.
