Based on the original book by Abigail Pogrebin Stars of David is a song cycle that celebrates through monologue and song the lives of famous Jewish celebrities and their connection to Judiasm.  Names such as Tony Kushner, Leonard Nimoy, Joan Rivers, Aaron Sorkin, Gloria Steinem, Fran Drescher, Steven Speilberg, Norman Lear and many others stories are put to song by leading Broadway composers.

2 women - younger woman 25-35 years old; older woman 50-60 years old.
2 men - younger man 25-35 years old; older man 50-60 years old.

Cast must be very strong singers and very charismatic.  Would be wonderful if the young woman could mimic Fran Drescher and the older woman could mimic Joan Rivers. 

Please prepare two contrasting songs - one ballad and one uptempo of your choice.
