Quest Theatre is seeking a new Managing Director to lead the company into an inspired future. The ideal candidate is visionary, engaging and capable of encouraging and managing innovation, with strong organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively.  He/ she will be able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders including employees, volunteers, educators, artists, funders, government and the national theatrical community as a whole.

In addition to being a passionate advocate for theatre for young audiences, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in theatre (5+ years will be seen as an asset).  He/she will have experience leading within a not-for-profit arts organization, and clearly understands how to manage within a culture of fiscal responsibility. The ideal candidate can work collaboratively in a partnership-based senior management team to build and implement strategic plans, manage operations and raise funds.

Quest Theatre's structure is that of a governing board of directors and a dual headed organization consisting of the Managing Director (MD) and the Artistic Director (AD). The company provides work for over 250 artists annually. The current operating budget is $845,000.
