Play Practice Collective is holding auditions for its October 2014
Toronto premiere production of CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION by Annie
Baker.

In addition to critical acclaim and an extended run Off-Broadway, it
received the 2010 Obie Award for Best New American Play.

The play is centred on adult drama classes at a community centre in a
small town in Vermont.  

We are seeking submissions for the role of:
 
MARTY (FEMALE, 55)- Free spirited, creative  and well-meaning, Marty is
the instructor of this adult class that uses drama for self discovery.  
 
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please be prepared to present one contemporary
monologue.  A copy of the play can be provided to interested applicants
 
PRODUCTION DETAILS:
Where: The Storefront Theatre
When:  October 1 - 19, 2014
 
Rehearsals will take place throughout late August and September, taking
into account the company's availability.  Play Practice Collective will
be operating under the Equity Artists' Collective Agreement, and will
therefore be working in a profit share scenario after production costs.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
