SEEKING DIRECTORS FOR A DIRECTOR/PLAYWRIGHT EXCHANGE 

PGC and PTC are hosting a Director/Playwright Exchange in Vancouver on Sunday, October 5th. 

Ten directors and ten playwrights will attend, and everyone will have an opportunity to talk briefly about what kind of work inspires them and how they like to collaborate artistically. 

If you are a director interested in participating in the Exchange, send us TWO paragraphs of writing, no longer than 250 words each. With the first paragraph, provide a brief Biography that outlines your professional accomplishments to date (this will be shared with the other participants). For the second paragraph, provide a personal Statement of Purpose that describes your artistic passions. Please write in the first person, and offer a window into your own unique artistic point of view.
Why are you a director? What sort of work excites you? How do you like to work? With whom? Etc. 

Participation is limited to 10 directors. Interested parties should forward their information to Rebecca Burton, Membership Manager, Playwrights Guild of Canada (rebecca at playwrightsguild.ca), by Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014. Accepted directors will be notified shortly thereafter.
