Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Hudson Village Theatre is now accepting electronic submissions from actors for our 2015 Season.  We accept only online submissions. Please indicate in the subject heading if you are Equity or non-Equity.

Hudson Village Theatre believes that artists of diverse cultures and backgrounds should have equal opportunities and we welcome such artists' interest.

Additional information: While we sincerely thank you for submitting your materials electronically and for your interest in our 2015 Season, only actors selected for an audition will be contacted with an appointment at this time. We will endeavour to hold another round of auditions in the near future.

Equity actors will be asked to prepare two contrasting monologues (two 2 1/2 minute pieces totaling five minutes). Non-Equity actors will be asked to prepare one monologue (2½ minutes in total). For both, a monologue from the modern classic repertoire is preferable, but not strictly necessary.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
