Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: 
Fish2Frÿ encourages submissions from actors of all cultural backgrounds. For the role of Tony, priority will be given to actors within the Deaf culture.

Additional information: 
Fish2Frÿ Productions is accepting submissions for its upcoming production of "The Eagle With Two Heads" by Jean Cocteau,directed by Luke Gallo. The production is an Artists' Collective and will be performed at the Pia Bouman Scotiabank Theatre from March 25th - March 29th. The payment is structured as a profit share. 

We are looking to cast the roles of: 

Edith: Female, Mid 20's to mid 30's. Queen's reader.

Felix: Male, Mid 20's to mid 40's. The Duke. Admirer of the Queen, and Edith's ex lover

Count von Foehn: Male, 30 to 55. Powerful man. Traitor.

Tony: Male, 20's to 50's. Loyal servant to the Queen. Uses sign language to communicate. We are interested in seeing actors who identify with the Deaf culture and can speak using sign language.
