COUNCIL'S SAFE WORKPLACE SURVEY TO BE SENT OUT IN THE NEW YEAR

Council will shortly be undertaking a national survey of the membership
on the topic of promoting safe and respectful workplaces, free from
sexual or personal harassment, bullying, discrimination, and other
behaviours that create a toxic work environment.

We want to hear from you, so please make certain we have your correct
contact information on file. Surveys will be sent out electronically in
early January, to all members in good standing for whom we have a
current email address. You can update your member profile online, if
needed.

The survey will provide us with basic data on member experience with
workplace issues of this type, and help us identify challenges members
may have faced in seeking a prompt and effective response. Council is
updating its policies and processes in this area, and the data collected
will allow us to target those changes to greatest effect.
