AUDITION NOTICE
New West Theatre invites submissions for our upcoming Music-Comedy
Revues
(2 productions) during the summer of 2014. Performers should possess
strong vocal skills in pop/rock musical styles, as well as a proficiency
singing in harmonies. Background experience with dance, musical
instruments, or sketch comedy is an asset.

PRODUCTION DATES
The production calendar spans 12 weeks from early June to late August
(including the rehearsal period and performances). New West Theatre
engages
non-Equity performers, as well as Equity performers under the Guest
Artist
Policy.

SUBMISSIONS
Interested candidates should submit an electronic application consisting
of a
headshot (.jpg no more than 2MB), as well as a performance resume (.doc,
.docx, .pdf).

ABOUT NEW WEST THEATRE: New West Theatre is a registered Non Profit
Society in Alberta and is registered by the Canada Revenue Agency as a
charitable organization. Annually we produce multiple theatre
productions ranging from high-energy Music-Comedy Revues to
thought-provoking Canadian plays, as well as Summer Theatre Camps and a
year-round Theatre School.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
