BRUCE HUNTER’S CHARACTER COMEDY CLASS
Create interesting characters and write comedy under the direction of long time director, writer and comedian, Bruce Hunter.
The class will focus on the funny, finding the humour from the characters or situations it will workshop ideas for the intent of having a basis for a performance piece that can later be worked into an act.

For performers already familiar with Shakespeare, a two-day workshop to explore the character’s arc through their play by working on three of their speeches with Diane D’Aquila, for a deeper connection to your audition pieces.
Participants will need to prepare three monologues from the same character, loading them for use in future auditions.  This workshop is geared toward more experienced professional actors.

Each class will offer a very complete warm-up, but with a slightly different focus. Learn to gently address habitual physical tension and emotional response habits to free your voice.
