Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: The Firehall
produces work that is reflective of the cultural pluralism of Canada and
supports inclusive casting for its productions. 

Additional information: The Firehall is casting for its production of
Urinetown The Musical which is successfully produced in 2005 & 2006.
Rehearsal will commence the second week of October 2014 with
performances throughout the full month of November 2014. Some of the
original cast are returning but in particular we are interested in
hearing from those interested in the characters of Pennywise, Hope,
Bobbie and Cladwell. Those selected to audition will be asked to
undertake a short monologue and sing one song (can be from the show but
does not need to be) that shows off their range. 

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
