CANADA'S NEW ANTI-SPAM LEGISLATION AND EQUITY'S E-DRIVE SERVICE

Dear E-Drive Subscribers,

As you may know, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) comes into effect
on July 1, 2014. In light of this new legislation, we want to tell you a
little bit about how this affects your E-Drive subscription.

E-Drive sends out audition notices, stage manager notices, job notices
relating to Canadian theatre, as well as workshop and ticket discounts
for Equity members. E-Drive also communicates important Association news
via 'Equiflash' notices. All of these notices are distributed to
thousands of E-Drive subscribers who have intentionally 'opted-in' to
receive E-Drive emails. You receive E-Drive messages because you have
intially opted-in.

As outlined on the CRTC website, Canada's new Anti-Spam Legislation has
three general requirements for sending mass emails to an electronic
address. Please see how each requirement below relates to E-Drive:

(1) Consent - You receive E-Drive messages because you have intially
opted-in.
(2) identification information - E-Drive emails are managed and
distributed by Canadaian Actors' Equity Association's Communications
staff. A link to EQUITYONILNE (www.caea.com ) and communications staff
contact inforamtion are clearly and prominently set out by E-Drive. 
(3) Unsubscribe mechanism - all subscribers must opt-in to receive
E-Drive emails, and are free to unsubscribe at any time. If you no
longer wish to receive E-Drive message, please click the unsubscribe
link below in any E-Drive email.

If you wish to keep your E-Drive subscription, no action is required on
your part. You will continue to receive E-Drive emails. If you have any
questions about E-Drive, please contact us at any time at the contact
