2013 - 2014 NCCEA & NACMDA EXTENSIONS RATIFIED

The recently negotiated extensions to the National Capital Commission Events Agreement (NCCEA) and the National Arts Centre Music Department Agreement (NACMDA) were ratified by the Equity membership in a ballot count held last week.
 
Members voted 100% in support of the proposed changes. The return rate on the NCCEA ballots mailed was 50%. The return rate on the NACMDA ballots mailed was 33.33%.

The current NCCEA is now renewed until August 31, 2014. The current NACMDA is now renewed until June 30, 2014, both with Equity a 1.5% increase to all minimum rates, fees and other monetary amounts.

All of the negotiated changes to the National Capital Commission Events Agreement are retroactive to September 1, 2013. All of the negotiated changes to the National Arts Centre Music Department Agreement are retroactive to July 1, 2013. Both Agreements extend to August 31, 2014.
