Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
LOOKING FOR ELVIS! Bear Productions will be presenting the musical premier of ELVIS AND DICK at the Toronto Fringe Festival in July. The musical is based on a private meeting in 1970 between President Nixon and Elvis Presley with Elvis wanting to become a Federal Drug Agent. We are looking for an actor/singer to portray Elvis at 30-40yrs of age. Elvis impersonators are welcome to audition, but must have acting experience.

Additional information:
This is a Fringe Production and there will be no payment for rehearsals. All company members split the box office proceeds at conclusion of the run. Performance times will vary night and day during the first two weeks of July.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
