Please Note: Any choristers who have sung 4 or more Vancouver Opera productions in the last 5 years are not required to audition

Audition requirements are as follows:
>> Three opera arias - one in Italian, 2 in languages of your choice. At least 2 different languages must be represented.

   * All arias must be in the original language. 
   * Each aria must be no longer than 5 minutes in length.
   * Oratorio and art song selections are not permitted. 
   * An accompanist will be provided.  Applicants may also bring their own accompanist.
   * Applicants must be residents of, and eligible to work in, Canada.

To be considered for an audition, diplomas/degrees are not required, but a minimum of university-level or equivalent in voice and music training, and stage experience, is expected.
