PGC and Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre are hosting a Director/Playwright Exchange in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday, May 4th, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Village Guitars.

Ten directors and ten playwrights will come together to talk briefly about what kind of work inspires them and how they like to collaborate artistically.

Directors interested in participating should submit TWO paragraphs (no longer than 250 words each). The first should be a brief Bio, outlining your professional accomplishments to date. The second should be a personal Statement of Purpose that shares your artistic passions. These should be written in the first-person, and they should offer a window into your unique artistic point of view. Why are you a director? What sort of work excites you? How do you like to work? Etc.

Participation is limited to 10 directors and will be determined on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

Interested directors should forward their information to Rebecca Burton, Membership Manager, Playwrights Guild of Canada (rebecca at playwrightsguild.ca), by April 2, 2014. Accepted directors will be notified the following week.
