Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts is committed to providing high
quality performing arts education to students of all ages and levels.
Our aim is to assist students in building confidence through teaching
skills in music, theatre, and dance. All classes are taught by highly
qualified instructors that are performers, educators and supporters of
the arts.

Additional information:
We are looking for an energetic, resourceful stage director for our
Youth Music Theatre program (ages 10-13). This is an exciting
opportunity to join a fantastic team and play a crucial role in the
artistic team of a lively, high-calibre, youth music theatre ensemble.

The Youth Troupe Director is expected to:
* Create casting breakdown with Artistic Team.
* Collaborate with Artistic and Production Teams to create unified
vision of production.
* Collaborate with Production Stage Manager to create detailed rehearsal
schedule.
* Attend all rehearsals (Thursdays 6:30-9:00pm, occasional Sundays)
* Attend all Cueing Sessions, Tech Rehearsals, Dress Rehearsals, and
Performances. (December 1-6, 2014; April 27-May 2, 2015)

The successful applicant should demonstrate the following:
* Undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field, including: music,
music theatre, theatre, directing
* Proven directorial track-record
* Ability to think creatively
* Enjoys and has experience working with youth (ages 10-13)
* Tact, diplomacy, and discretion in corresponding with faculty, staff,
students, and parents
* Highly organized and self-motivated
* Police record check will be required upon hiring
