Elle Productions is looking for a musician/actor for a two week script workshop in January. The piece is adapted by Severn Thompson from the Governor General's Award winning book by Douglas Glover and features Thompson, directed by Christine Brubaker, sound design by Lyon Smith, set/lx/costumes Jen Goodman.

Elle is the story of Marguerite de Robervale, a French noblewoman who spent some years marooned on the Île des Démons off the coast of Newfoundland in 1540.

We are looking for an actor to play Itslk, a First Nations male between the ages 25 and 45. This character will also ideally play one or more instruments (strings and/or percussion). We will be holding interview / auditions on November 22nd.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
