Forte Musical Theatre Guild is casting the following roles for our production of "Naughty but Nice" a Christmas revue:

2 Female Characters - approximate age range of 20 to 50
1 Male Character - approximate age range of 20 to 50

All actors are required to sing in close harmony and need strong musical skills. 
The ability to play a musical instrument is a definite asset but not a requirement.
Actors will be required to play a variety of roles and ages within the context of the show.

Please prepare a short, comic monologue and a musical theatre song.
If you are an instrumentalist, prepare a short solo demonstrating your ability.
An accompanist will be provided. Artists who choose not to use the accompanist provided may bring their own accompanist or may bring along an mp3 player containing an accompaniment track provided it contains no vocals. A sound system with an 1/8" stereo input jack will be provided (standard headphone output from your mp3 player).

Rehearsals begin on November 18th and the production runs from December 4th to the 21st in Calgary. 

Forte engages its artists under approved Equity contracts and anticipates the theatre will be considered a G house.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
