Red Snow Collective is looking for a male actor to play the Japanese Soldier for it's upcoming play, "comfort" ASAP

Production: Fall/Winter 2016
We are looking for a theatre artist who can play characters of Asian descent with skills in acting, movement, singing and improvisation to work as an ensemble. Actors will be given sides from the play prior to the audition and asked to prepare one song. The ability to speak or sing in Japanese is an asset but not mandatory.
The story is inspired by the comfort women in Asia and the resilience of women in war. Red Snow Collective will be co-presenting with www.zataomm.org
Equity members will be given priority. Equity members cast in this workshop and production will be engaged under an ITA Equity contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
