Created by Mercedes Batiz-Benet and Judd Palmer A collaboration between
Puente Theatre and The Old Trout Puppet Workshop With development
support from Quest Theatre Rehearsal and tour dates: September 24 -
November 13th, 2015. Subject to change.

Roles:
The Man - Male or female. Strong puppetry skills required.
The Umbrella/Storyteller/Shopkeeper/Crow - Male or female. Strong
puppetry skills are an asset. 

Auditions will take place at our office/rehearsal hall in Calgary
Bay 9, 6143 4th Street S.E. Calgary. Please prepare one monologue, no
longer than 2 minutes in length. Candidates will also be asked to
demonstrate puppetry skills.  Please note if successful, all performers
are required to set up and strike the set twice a day as well as
perform. 

Successful candidates must have their own accommodation within the point
of origin (Calgary). Sorry no video submissions.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
