Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio Auditions for Opera Singers

2016/2017 SEASON

APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2015

The Ensemble Studio program is designed to serve as a bridge between
academic programs and the professional world of opera. Applicants must
display exceptional talent, have extensive operatic training and a thorough
musical education.

Auditions take place every fall in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. The
final stage of the audition process is the Ensemble Studio Competition on
November 3, 2015.

Audition dates are September 27, 2015 in Montreal; October 2, 2015 in
Vancouver; and October 5, 7, 8, 9, 2015 in Toronto.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
